Educational Objectives
The professional aim to foster senior specialized talents who master the basic theories of modern economics, especially international economics, master the basic knowledge and skills of international trade and international business, understand the present situation of international economic and trade development, and are familiar with international trade rules and practices as well as major countries’ foreign trade policies and regulations. To make sure these specialized talents are able to work in the department of foreign economic or trade, foreign-funded enterprises and foreign business enterprises as well as government agencies engaged in economic research and management.
During the school period, students are required to master the basic theories and skills of modern economics and international trade, as well as the management knowledge of foreign trade transportation in the academic. Graduates should obtain the following knowledge and abilities:
1. Proficient in the basic theories and methods of modern economics and international economics can do analysis and research work with measurement statistics and accounting method;
2. Proficient in the basic knowledge and method of international trade and foreign trade transportation;
3. To understand the economic development, trade policy, and law of the major countries and regions of the world;
4. Flexibility in the use of the international trade practices and international commodity exchange practical operational skills;
5. Proficient in computer data analysis, management and operation.
